I hope I can add my congratulations, too. I spend a fair amount of money on various packages each year (Pattern Smasher from the U.S. was one of the worst packages I have ever bought (from the U.S.). And the support from Indexia is second to none. I had problems loading the latest share price updates on your CD and received constant help over the whole of the Christmas period. It seems years since I bought my first Indexia oackage, but I still use it every night for my downloads. Why do I like it? It doesn't
lock up. The sreen layout is just right etc. etc. I think I have mentioned before, but I am an electronics engineer by profession and Maxwell's 2nd equation is my major intellectual interest in life
(particularly how one differentiates between D and dD/dt in the quasistatic condition). I am a very critical person about software packages, but the reason why Indexia didn't go under was because you
did not become seduced by silly gimmicks. Most people laugh at individuals such as I who spend hours studying charts, but it is very interesting to note that this poor chap who has lost so much money (Sunday Times money section) now seems to realise that we are not all fools after all!!! It is now well over 2 years since I invested in your Indexia (subsequently upgraded to Indexia II and, more recently the 3,200 data bank) and wanted to tell you how much enjoyment (and value) I have had using your comprehensive software and range of indicators.
A good friend of mine (who, for most of his life had been a global commodity dealer and subsequently a private consultant) recently started to take an interest in what I was doing and, in particular, your Indexia indicators and the Technical Analysis 'tools'. He decided to take up the subject and set out to invest in the best software to meet his needs.
He obtained information on the top 5 suppliers of software, including Indexia. He was intending not to purchase Indexia since he thought it would be of interest to compare his purchase with my Indexia II. By nature, he is thorough and analytical. He not only absorbed the sales literature but also, spoke to the company 'contact' for more information. He has concluded that, value for money, he too will be buying Indexia!
What impressed him most was 2 items on your menu - the Autorun (where up to 8 indicators shows up on the screen for each or up to 100 shares) and the Highlighter with the wide range of criteria available.
Also, for someone who has minimal knowledge of Technical Analysis he is very impressed with your booklet and manual. And, finally, the marketing of your product. Your literature and, the company 'contact' was superior to all your competition.

Six Years ago I started with Intro, upgraded to INDEXIA II, then to INDEXIA Plus, now INDEXIA 2.1. I also bought OptionTrader program and 3 days (later) I bought as well the Moving Average Manager. I never stopped to marvel at the amazing ability to produce such programs. Full credit goes to Mr. Ellis who is a worthy representative of your company and INDEXIA and the Programs you have. As a VERY HAPPY long term (about ten years I think) Indexia user, I
thought you might be interested in my experiences after being seduced
by .........
After receiving the package, I discovered that one of the disks was
corrupt which was when my problems began. After numerous phone calls
(never returned), faxes and e-mails (never replied), I finally
received a replacement disk (a month later). Oh yes, when I finally
got to speak to someone, I was asked if I knew how to install the
software correctly (I have a Ph.D in electronic engineering and have
spent most of my post-grad life in industry).
I shall NEVER deal with ......... ever again. The marketing hype is
just hype. They do not care two hoots about the customer and are
just after the money. I have NEVER had any problems with Indexia and
on the rare occasions that I have rung, I have always been treated
with the utmost courtesy and genuine desire to help.
As a charting package, Indexia is nice to use - I can happily chart
for hours at a time and actually enjoy it. The charts are well
sized; it is easy to make indicators of indicators. I can import and
export data without any problems. This contrasts with the .........
package: awful charts; dubious charting and no import
export facility (I can't believe that!!!!).
What a pity that Indexia could not have done a deal with some data
provider - at least the customer would have got value for money.

INDEXIA User wins Redmayne Bentley Stockbrokers Competition
INDEXIA User, Colin Oliver-Redgate, has won the Equity Fund Managers Competition, organised by Redmayne Bentley Stockbrokers in the UK. Over 6 months he showed a capital appreciation of 63%. His prize is a trip to New York for two with limousine, theatre, restaurant and a tour of Wall Street. Our congratulations on this excellent achievement.

After using INDEXIA systems for four years and comparing them with other systems either I or friends have used, I have no hesitation in saying that yours are the most user friendly.
Apart from the amazing range of indicators and moving averages provided, the factors that stand out for me in day to day working are:
- The professional sharpness of the charts and moving averages compared with the crudeness of many other systems.
- The ease of reading any price and date on a chart by the smooth moving vertical and horizontal lines plus the price window.
- The simplicity of changing any configuration, including a move between daily and weekly charts, in seconds.
- The ability to have one or many charts on a screen at the same time, and to print two screens on one sheet of A4.
- The Highlighter which can scan over 3000 shares for my own specifications in less than 5 minutes.
- The Autoruns which enable me to view any selection of charts without having to key in the individual codes.
- The amazingly efficient Smart Auto Update which sorts Daily data downloaded from Direct Market Data.
- Your willingness to give free phone help when I am in trouble.

For anyone contemplating the purchase of investment software, then in my opinion you can narrow the choices right down by selecting the software that gives you an edge in the market.
True, there are many competitively priced systems available, even boasting numerous technical tools, ie. moving averages, RSI Stochastics, etc. But you want the software that gives you that bit more. I am well pleased with the Indexia software I have because it provides plenty of its own tried and tested tools alongside industry standard accepted ones. Tools such as, Market Tracker, Indexia Averages, Speed to name a few, plus the ability to generate your own indicators using a study facility.
Yes, before I purchased Indexia software I had been using another rival program. However I soon discovered that buying a cheap program meant just that - cheap! Indexia gives me that bit more for my money. Also another point that I like is that its a British program, well suited to the UK Stockmarket and not some American import where you may find poor after sales service should you ever need it. In the last few years I have spent over 300 pounds in buying shares software from two companies.......I found them of very limited use and decided to look for something better. I have no regrets about having invested in Indexia software, I just wish I had not wasted time and money on the other programs.
I was apprehensive about my ability to use Indexia, especially bearing in mind I have been told that Lego was too technical for me. However my fears were groundless. The manual is well written, the software is easy to use and when, very rarely, I did get stuck the help line provided help using words I was able to understand

The Highlighter facility allows me to analyse all of my chosen stocks in approximately 5 minutes each morning; I cannot imagine working without it! Compared to other programmes I examined Indexia runs much faster on my PC, I found others frustratingly slow. The Users manual is the best of any software I have used. I have never had to use the free helpdesk facility, although it is comforting to know it is there if I need it. I would thoroughly recommend Indexia to anyone considering buying a charting package. I think, for the price, INDEXIA II is an excellent program - it fulfills my needs and has performed extremely financially satisfactorily. The deal you gave me after I had used the Student system suited me well. The backup on the 'calamities' I have had - via fax - non pareil !

I have been using computer software for stocks/shares since 1982 - started off with ...., before that used ... on BBC, then .... None of them were up to mark as INDEXIA II. MAny times I could predict the price trend correctly.
